Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure

Over twenty-five percent of Americans have hypertension (high blood pressure). Over 50% of Americans over 65 have high blood pressure. In countries where they do not consume lots of salt and protein, hypertension is rare. See more on this on home page, Healthy Diet. Many people do not know that they have it. Many are not on medications (drugs) for it since they do not like the side effects. Many are taking 3 or 4 drugs for it.
Some people are able to cure it with a supplement like taking garlic or mangosteen  juice. Cure for High Blood Pressure and Angina (Chest Pain)

Here is something that works on almost everyone plus natural remedies for high blood pressure. This method involves changing the diet but the powerful method that reverses the damage is fasting. Read the webpage about fasting on this website with quotes from 19 MDs. So first a person fasts for 2 or 3 weeks, then changes their diet to one with no animal products and no or little salt.
These natural remedies for high blood pressure comes from an MD (Joel Fuhrman) who has spent 30 years treating people with fasting and a change of diet. It is a diet of little or no salt, no animal products, fruits, vegetables (plenty of greens), nuts, seeds, beans and whole grains. This is explained in detail by the book below and someone can have their fast supervised by Dr Fuhrman or another fasting professional. He can also take you off drugs during the fast like he did with one guy who was on 2 medications for hypertension and yet his blood pressure was still too high. After the fast it was normal without drugs.
Natural remedies for high blood pressure comes from a book by Dr Fuhrman mentioned at the bottom. There are testimonials in it by other MDs. It says "Those suffering from the ravages of heart disease must be told that there is a safe, less invasive way to get relief and prolong their lives. This book is loaded with lots of recent studies. During the fast, a person's blood  pressure goes down. The blood pressure medicines are the biggest sellers. Many do not take them due to the varied bad side effects. People who take the medications for hypertension do not get less heart attacks than those who do not take them for their high blood pressure.
Dr Fuhrman graduated U of Penn medical school (one of 8 Ivy League colleges). His mother was fasted by Dr Shelton who had fasted 40,000 people. Dr Fuhrman was an Olympic skater who injured his foot and fasted for 40 days to heal it. His book tells about diet to get rid of headaches and migraines that is much more strict than the above diet. His book also covers using fasting and/or change of diet to cure diabetes (type 2), rheumatoid arthritis, acne, lupus, psoriasis, osteoporosis, tinnitus, vertigo and glaucoma.

Cholesterol

The total cholesterol (TC) levels is totally outdated since the more good cholesterol (HDL) you have the better. Then they came out with another formula where your TC over HDL should be less than 4.5 which is somewhat better. But Dr Barry Sears, author of The Zone books, used the latest research that found out that there is harmful and harmless bad cholesterol (LDL). So he took the harmless LDL out of the equation. His formula is triglycerides over HDL. If it is around 1, it is very good. If it is over 4, then that is not good.
He says that this formula is much better at predicting your chance of heart attacks and strokes. I just read where one guy's number was 25. Then he tried a diet and it went up to 42. But then he tried The Zone diet and in 8 weeks it went down to 2.2. Dr Sears' diet emphasizes getting enough omega-3 essential fatty acids which Americans do not get enough of. This alone can make a big difference. It is in highly polluted fish but the best vegetarian source is flaxseeds or chia seeds. 
There is now proof that the above formula is the one that matters. This means that lowering cholesterol with drugs does not help and is a scam. First only 50% of the people who get heart attacks have high LDL (bad) cholesterol. LDL is not in the equation above. Heart Attacks, Strokes and Leg Pain

Doctors have found a new way of identifying your chances of having a heart attack or stroke. If you have 3 of the 5 core problems then you have metabolic syndrome. According to Framingham Heart Study at Boston University School of Medicine, women with this syndrome have more than double their risk of stroke than those that do not have it. Men with it have a 78% higher chance of strokes than men who do not have it.
The five components of it are elevated (high) blood pressure, large waist circumference, elevated triglycerides, low HDL (good) cholesterol count and elevated blood sugar level. Note that this ignores LDL (bad) cholesterol. If you want to lower cholesterol then take the dietary supplement of red rice extract. The FDA made it illegal to sell, in 1998, since it lowered cholesterol like Statin drugs. But in 1999 a federal judge made it legal again.
To lower chance of strokes eat a healthy diet (see home page), get exercise, lower stress, lower blood pressure, quit smoking and take a supplement to keep homocysteine levels low. The nutrients needed for this are vitamins B-12, B-6 and folic acid. The American Heart Association (number one listing for a Google search for 'cholesterol') says that to raise HDL cholesterol avoid tobacco smoke, maintain a healthy diet and 30-60 minutes of physical activity 4 days a week.
What causes the hardening and narrowing of the arteries is not too much cholesterol in the blood. It is caused by things being used to help heal the arteries. What attacks the arteries is fluorine and chlorine in the water, refined sugar, corn syrup, homogenized milk, cigarette smoke and bad diet like fried foods.
A guy near me was having problems with his legs. None of the MDs could tell him what was wrong with him. They put him on drugs for pain and water retention. Two years later, he died of a heart attack. It is called intermittent claudication. It can feel worse while walking and better after resting. The cause of HBP, heart attacks, angina, strokes and intermittent claudication is gradual clogging, hardening and damage done to the interior walls of our blood vessels. It can even cause senile dementia and erectile impotence. Dr Fuhrman's book says the above is due to diet of high-fat [like fried foods], high protein and a highly refined diet. He says that the above can be reversed.
The book says "The accumulation of fatty plaque on the inner walls of our blood vessels begins in early in childhood and progresses gradually through life due to modern-day dietary practices. High blood pressure is the result of blood vessels that are relatively inelastic due to deposits of plaque."
Here is more from his book on leg pain (page 123). "For many years, Kevin had been suffering from erectile impotence and excruciating pain in his legs whenever he walked. This type of pain is called intermittent claudication. It is caused by blockages in the blood vessels that supply blood to the legs.... Recently, even mild exertion such as walking 100 yards on a flat surface would generate acute pain in both legs and hips and numbness in the left foot.
Kevin consulted numerous physicians and underwent an angiogram, which documented severe atherosclerosis of the iliac arteries (major blood vessels in the leg)." He was told he needed immediate angioplasty of the arteries in the legs. He was told that there were no alternatives. "He fasted for only 12 days. During the fast he suffered from the above symptoms. After the fast he was first fed a small quantity of fresh fruit and vegetable juice.
He progressed to melon by the end of the first day and was then fed raw salad and vegetables. On the 4th day of refeeding he began exercising on a stationary bike. By the 7th day of refeeding Kevin was able to walk 20 minutes without any discomfort in the legs, calves or feet." He followed a strict diet and 4 weeks later he could walk long distances without any symptoms. The condition did not return.

This has been promoted for cardiovascular health for decades. It comes from soybeans but is also in cabbage, cauliflower, green beans, chickpeas, lentils, corn, split peas and grains. It is dirt cheap, like a pound of it for $20. Make sure to get the non GMO (genetically modified) lecithin which works the best. I just came across this. A guy had high blood pressure.

The doctor said that he needed surgery to have the plaque stripped from the arteries in his neck. It would cost $10,000 but the machine was down and he had to wait. At a health food store they told him to try lecithin. He took 2 tablespoons a day. When he returned to the doctor, the nurse re-examined him and said that he did not need the surgery since the plaque in his arteries was gone. A side effect of consuming lecithin is that it makes you smarter.
What causes heart attacks and strokes is plaque on your artery walls. They make the walls hard and can block the blood flow. The plaque contains oxidized cholesterol. Reducing cholesterol does not remove the plaque. Cholesterol contains lecithin. The good cholesterol (HDL) contains more lecithin than the bad cholesterol (LDL). The more good cholesterol, the better. When enough lecithin is in the cholesterol, it becomes soluble and it dissolves back into your blood and washes away. The webpage, Natural Healing, tells about a group that uses flaxseeds for their omega-3s. This flaxseed oil is a more concentrated source but I use the ground flaxseeds since it provides an extremely good fiber for the colon and also contains lignans which are also beneficial. Dr Barry Sears suggests using pharmaceutical grade fish oil since this has the pollutants removed. But then you are dealing with having to kill many animals to keep you healthy.

I was just reading about a study showing that getting a lot of sunshine lowers blood pressure. They think it has to do with the kind of vitamin D created by sunlight on the skin.
People are supposed to have a very high ratio of potassium to sodium in their diet. Salt has huge amounts of sodium and throws that off (see losing water weight on home page). Jane Brody's Nutrition Book says "Hypertension is practically nonexistent in cultures that exist in New Guinea, the Amazon Basin, the Kalahari Desert, and elsewhere, where little or no salt is added to foods." The FDA has on their webpage, Healthier Eating (May-June 2005 Issue [most recent]) a chapter called "Lower Sodium and Increase Potassium" (www.fda.gov/fdac/features/2005/305_eat.html).
An avocado has 1,200 mg of potassium and 25 mg of sodium. A can of chicken noodle soup has over 2,000 mg of sodium. Since a banana has about 400 mg of potassium it is good to eat at least one a day on an empty stomach (see home page to learn why). Also eat avocados which have lots of potassium (1,200 mg) and have a very healthy fat. Michael Roizon, author of You: The Owners Manual, says that it has the healthiest fat for middle aged men and prevents prostate cancer. Foods high in potassium include potatoes (800 mg for medium size potato), avocados, raisins and figs. A cup of coconut milk has over 600 mg of potassium. As far as whole grains, 3 ounces of quinoa has over 600 mg of potassium. It takes 15 minutes to cook these small grains.
See home page for information on how Celtic sea salt (not other sea salt) is better for you. It is even better to put granulated kelp on your food instead of salt. First ,this seaweed or sea vegetable is very salty since it comes from the ocean.  But the salt or sodium in it is organic unlike the inorganic sodium in salt. This is like getting organic iron from spinach instead of getting inorganic iron from a nail. Kelp is much higher in trace minerals, including organic iodine, than land plants plus the fiber in it is sold as a supplement since it helps remove toxic metals from the body. They add inorganic iodine to salt since people do not get enough trace minerals like iodine. Kelp is a food whereas salt is not a food.
A nurse says that grapefruits lower blood pressure. So it is one of the natural remedies for high blood pressure. A scientist that studies the phytochemicals in berries says that strawberries reduce blood pressure and blueberries minimize brain damage after a stroke. A stupid thing in our society is that when a doctor prescribes a medicine like Vioxx, people have no questions, even though Vioxx killed more Americans than the terrorists on 9/11. Mention what bananas and strawberries can do and now he has to ask his doctor if he can eat these fruits, even though they were OK to eat before he heard about these benefits.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) has a website by the leading botanist in the world, Dr James Duke, which lists plants that have antihypertensive phytochemicals in them. The first 2 have the highest concentration of these chemicals and the others have the most different ones: alfalfa plant with 5 antihypertensive chemicals in it, guava fruit 8, garlic 11, tomato 11, banana 11, onion 10, eggplant 10, beets 9, cabbage 9, endive 9, orange 9, grapefruit 9 and sweet potato with 9.
Celery was not on the list but many consider it one of the healthiest foods and it is a natural remedy for high blood pressure. Research has shown that the phytochemical, 3-n-butyl phthalide, that is in celery, can lower blood pressure in lab mice by 12% to 14%. They found that people eating 4 stalks a day can lower blood pressure by 14%. Try to get the organically grown since celery is one of the produce with the highest amounts of pesticides. Now is it better to eat the conventional than none at all? Well if you think that your level of toxins is not too high than maybe it is better to eat the conventional than none at all.
I just read that blackstrap molasses has so much potassium, that it can instantly lower blood pressure in some people. A tablespoon of blackstrap molasses has 300 mg of potassium. A tablespoon of organic blackstrap molasses has 730 mg of potassium. It is very high in lots of nutrients that were in the sugarcane. This is sold in the health food store and the part that is left over is the sugar with no nutrients. Sweet potatoes or yams do not have as much potassium as potatoes, but this molasses tastes good when put on top of sweet potatoes. Then it will have as much potassium as potatoes.

How to Compare Different Blood Pressures

Say that the blood pressure reading changes and both numbers go down. It is easy to see that that is better. But what if it was 150 over 90 and it changes to 155 over 85. Has it improved or got worse. The doctors use 1 number to make it simple. The arteries are at the lower number (diastolic) for twice as long as they are at the higher number (systolic). So they multiply the lower number by 2 and add the higher number and divide by 3. So with the first one, it is 110. With the 2nd reading, it is 108 so the 2nd reading is better. So a reading of 160 over 80 is slightly better than the last one since it is 107.

Comparing Natural Remedies for High Blood Pressure with Medications

This shows the average number of points that the systolic blood pressure drops from these natural remedies for high blood pressure. Weight loss resulted in an average drop of 1.6 points. A vegetarian high-fiber diet resulted in an average drop of 2.8 points. Alcohol reduction showed a drop of 4.8 points. Exercise produced a drop of 7 -- 8 points. Drugs showed an average drop of 12 points. Sodium Restriction resulted in an average drop of 16 points in systolic blood pressure. A combination of vegan, low-fat, low salt diet and exercise showed a drop of 17 points. Note that studies show that adding olive oil to your food (use cold pressed extra virgin olive oil) reduces blood pressure and helps people to lose weight.
Water-only fasting with supervised re-feeding produced an average drop of 37 points. There was a 12 year study  done with 174 patients with mild to severe high blood pressure at True-North Health with the above. It had an average of water-only fasting for 10.6 days followed by supervised re-feeding for one week. For people with severe high blood pressure there was an average drop of 60 points from an average of 194 to an average of 134 after fasting. Below 140 is normal blood pressure.
For people with moderate high blood pressure, there was an average drop of 40 points from 166 to 126. For people with mild high blood pressure, there was a drop of 30 points from 146 to 116 after fasting. This article says to not try unsupervised fasting.

Pomegranate and Other Juices Can Help

"Dr. Michael Aviram, with the Lipid Research Laboratory at Rambam, thinks it's possible that many high-risk cardiovascular patients can be spared both bypass and carotid surgery by simply drinking pomegranate juice" according to this webpage. They did a study with 19 patients and 10 got pomegranate juice daily and 9 got a placebo (fake juice).
"While the blood pressures of those on the placebo didn't change, the systolic pressure (top number) of those on pomegranate juice went from an average of 174 to 162 mm Hg in just a month. And it reduced even further, to an average of 152 mm Hg at twelve months." This also helped with clearing blockages.
I do not like the taste of pomegranate juice but some love the taste. But I will drink juices that contain it. Other juices high in anti-oxidants that may help this (but have not been studied yet) include acai juice, mangosteen juice, goji juice and yumberry juice. I have heard of stories of blood pressure dropping a great deal with mangosteen juice but could be the placebo effect.

Chia Seeds

For many years I and others have consumed flaxseeds since it is high in omega-3 fatty acids. This helps lubricate the brain and arteries helping to prevent depression, heart attacks and strokes. But now there is a better source of omega-3 fatty acids. Chia seeds have more omega-3 fatty acids than flaxseeds. Green tea has been shown to lower hypertension and it is very healthy for you. They have decaf green tea.
Flaxseeds cannot be digested unless they are milled. But once this is done then they are subject to going rancid soon. This is not the case with chia seeds. You can add chia seeds to foods (like you do with flaxseed meal) or you can put 2 teaspoons of chia seeds in a glass of water and let sit for 20 minutes. You can add juice from a lemon or lime to it. Literature says that it helps slow the aging of the brain and arteries, prevents long term memory loss, and increases cardiovascular health.
It was a major food of the Aztecs. Also it is being called a superfood due to other high amounts of nutrition. It has a lot of fiber (fish has omega-3s but no fiber), 5 times the calcium in whole milk, 3 times the antioxidants in blueberries, 15 times the magnesium in broccoli, more potassium than bananas and more iron than spinach. Do not look for them in the fat and sick food store. Look for chia seeds or chia seed meal (AKA Salba) in the health food store, as seeds or milled.

Also I have read about a device that helps with high blood pressure. It was used with air force pilots that would pass out when they flew a jet that would put a lot of gravitational pressure on their body. They found that a side effect of using it was lowering of blood pressure.
The Kuna Indians of the San Blas islands of Panama have no high blood pressure. When they moved to the mainland, it soared to typical levels. They drink 5 cups of hot chocolate (cacao) per day. Dr. Norman Hollenberg (M.D. and researcher of Harvard medical school) learned the above and did a study with chocolate and found that it reduces blood pressure by producing nitric oxide which relaxes the artery walls. This is referring to the pure chocolate (100% cacao). Do not add sugar or milk. You can add agave, maple syrup, dried cane juice or stevia. The worst things for the arteries are smoking, refined sugar, corn syrup, homogenized milk, chlorine and fluoride.
According to the Framingham study, the defining study on blood pressure with over 50 years of data from 10,000 patients, the pulse pressure is the most important number. This is the bottom number subtracted from the top number. The higher the number, the stiffer your arteries are. Forty or lower is fine. Higher than that means stiffness in the arteries.

A study in the journal Hypertension (online Feb. 4, 2008) showed that two cups (500 ml) of beet juice lowered blood pressure by approximately 10 points. That is better than many prescription drugs. He says that it has made a big difference. I do know that beets are great for health.
Dr. Louis Ignarro, winner of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology, says to eat more foods that are rich in L-Arginine and L-Citrulline like almonds, dark chocolate, garbanzo beans, melons, peanuts, soy and walnuts. L-arginine and L-citrulline will clean the arteries out.
In a study entitled The Effect of Sour Tea (hibiscus flower tea) on Essential Hypertension, the authors show that a heaping tablespoon of the dried hibiscus flower steeped in a quart of boiling water is sufficient to achieve this blood pressure lowering effect (2-3 tea bags of hibiscus tea). Details of the study were summed up in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Volume 65, Issue 3, pp. 231 - 236, June, 1999.

Hibiscus Tea

A study showed that people with mild hypertension who drank 3 cups of hibiscus tea daily had a reduction of 7.2-mm Hg in systolic pressure and a reduction of 3.1 of diastolic pressure. In half the people it lowered the systolic pressure by 13.2.

The Journal of Food Agriculture says that hibiscus tea lowered blood pressure and cholesterol. Also Phytomedicine (2004;11:37-82) says that hibiscus tea lowers blood pressure. A team from the Chung Shan Medical University in Taiwan says the hibiscus flower contains antioxidants that help control cholesterol.
The Lemonade Diet
Here is an actual story that took place August 2008. A 39 year old woman was on medication for high blood pressure. She got on the lemonade diet or lemonade fast after seeing my webpage on it. She monitored her blood pressure and reduced her medication until she was off of it completely. By the 15th day of the fast, with no medication, her blood pressure was 106/79. That is a pulse pressure of 27!

Garlic

Garlic has been shown to lower blood pressure. An N.D. says that you can cure high blood pressure by eating a healthy vegan diet (which means no cholesterol), eating most of it raw and by taking 3 cloves of garlic a day. He suggests cutting the garlic into pill size, coating them with olive oil and swallowing.
But this is not the best method for digestion. You have teeth so you can chew your food well and mix it with saliva before it enters the stomach. So you can use a garlic crusher and put the crushed garlic into your food. Also I love the taste of garlic. Of course the above diet is the healthiest but if you only take the garlic cloves that will help to lower your cholesterol. Many people eat an all raw food diet and swear by it. Of course that is how all the animals eat except for pets.

Watermelon

There are new studies that show that eating watermelon lowers blood pressure. A website says "Watermelon juice has also been named a novel source of the essential amino acid, arginine that is known to help to lower blood pressure as well, according to new research. Arginine is a precursor for nitric oxide, which has been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce blood clotting and protect against myocardial infarction and strokes. Researchers from the ARS, Texas A&M University, the University of Nevada, and Oklahoma State University, have reported that blood arginine levels increased by 22 per cent after three weeks of drinking watermelon juice with every meal." Watermelon contains citrulline that is converted into arginine.

Make sure to eat fruit first on an empty stomach and wait 15 minutes before eating other food that is not fruit. Fruit passes through the stomach and does not need to digested like other foods.

Anxiety or Panic Disorder (Panic Attacks)

They can't predict when an attack will occur, and many develop intense anxiety between episodes, worrying when and where the next one will strike.
In between times there is a persistent, lingering worry that another attack could come any minute. When a panic attack strikes, most likely your heart pounds and you may feel sweaty, weak, faint, or dizzy. Your hands may tingle or feel numb, and you might feel flushed or chilled. You may have chest pain or smothering sensations, a sense of unreality, or fear of impending doom or loss of control. You may genuinely believe you're having a heart attack or stroke, losing your mind, or on the verge of death. Attacks can occur any time, even during non dream sleep. While most attacks average a couple of minutes, occasionally they can go on for up to 10 minutes. In rare cases, they may last an hour or more.

Panic disorder strikes between 3 and 6 million Americans, and is twice as common in women as in men. It can appear at any age--in children or in the elderly--but most often it begins in young adults. Not everyone who experiences panic attacks will develop panic disorder-- for example, many people have one attack but never have another.
For those who do have panic disorder, though, it's important to seek treatment. Untreated, the disorder can become very disabling. Panic disorder is often accompanied by other conditions such as depression or alcoholism, and may spawn phobias, which can develop in places or situations where panic attacks have occurred. For example, if a panic attack strikes while you're riding an elevator, you may develop a fear of elevators and perhaps start avoiding them. Some people's lives become greatly restricted--they avoid normal, everyday activities such as grocery shopping, driving, or in some cases even leaving the house. Or, they may be able to confront a feared situation only if accompanied by a spouse or other trusted person. Basically, they avoid any situation they fear would make them feel helpless if a panic attack occurs.
When people's lives become so restricted by the disorder, as happens in about one-third of all people with panic disorder, the condition is called agoraphobia. A tendency toward panic disorder and agoraphobia runs in families. Nevertheless, early treatment of panic disorder can often stop the progression to agoraphobia. Studies have shown that proper treatment--a type of psychotherapy called cognitive-behavioral therapy, medications, or possibly a combination of the two--helps 70 to 90 percent of people with panic disorder. Significant improvement is usually seen within 6 to 8 weeks.
Cognitive-behavioral approaches teach patients how to view the panic situations differently and demonstrate ways to reduce anxiety, using breathing exercises or techniques to refocus attention, for example. Another technique used in cognitive-behavioral therapy, called exposure therapy, can often help alleviate the phobias that may result from panic disorder. In exposure therapy, people are very slowly exposed to the fearful situation until they become desensitized to it.

My Information on Anxiety


Anxiety is a normal thing for humans to feel. The more of it they feel, then the less calm, peaceful and happy they are. People only worry about it when it gets very bad. That is a mistake. Then they may just reduce it so it is no longer very bad. This is something that people should spend their whole life trying to reduce. The less anxiety you feel, the more peace and happiness you will feel. The anxiety comes from projecting yourself into the future. You need to learn to be more in the moment or in the present.
A very famous American psychologist, Abraham Maslow (1908-1970), said "I can feel guilty about the past, apprehensive about the future, but only in the present can I act. The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness." A famous poet, Kahlil Gibran said "Every person has inside of them a cup of joy. But you cannot drink from it, save [unless] you forget the past and renounce the future." Renounce means to give up or resign. It means that you have nothing to do  with it.  Yoga and meditation helps one to be in the present. The more in the moment you can be, the happier you can be. The flow experience in psychology is described as a feeling of time stopping.
To do this you need more trust. It does not have to be in anything (God, universe, angels or guides). It is just a feeling of trust. Things that can help this are things like reading, playing sports, yoga, martial arts, tai chi and meditation. I have done  all of the above. They help you to have the flow experience (something that psychologists found). This is talked about on the Prescription for Happiness page. My mother and brother got into reading a lot but they read mostly fiction. I also got into reading also, but I liked reading only non-fiction. The above things help you to focus and concentrate better. I did not know at that time that I would be writing down a lot of what I read for everyone to read.
Now you may have gotten to this page because of too much anxiety but you can help it so much that someday most people are much more anxious than you. As a youth I noticed that I loved the feelings that I got from reading and playing sports and I wanted to feel more of that. Also I wanted to feel a lot less of the feelings of worry and being concerned about things. Drugs, drinking and even smoking all make this anxiety much worse. So your your priority in life should be to be as calm as possible. Everyone will have things in life that they do not like. If you think that someone has a great life, remember that someday everyone they know will be dead. Also they will be dead. So things happen, but the challenge in life is to still feel good and not worry.

There are those 2 sayings "don't sweat the small stuff" and "it is all small stuff." This page is under the Natural Healing webpage so make sure to read that. That part of you that lives outside of the physical universe, lives in a state of eternal peace. In that world, there is no birth and death. Things are always the same, but it is not boring like in this world. Things are always perfect. This is why some people kill themselves, in hope to get there but it does not work that way. Meditation is something you can do at anytime.
One bad thing I see is that when people are waiting awhile for something, they will sit and do nothing for a long time. That is no good. I would always carry a book with me to read. My family would go out to eat and we would all have books with us. Then if we were not talking about something interesting, then we would be reading. You can even carry a pen and paper with you and write about something when you have to wait for something. There is a saying about meditation. "To the world he is dead, but to the one deep in meditation, the world is dead." They are dead to the profound peace that is within themselves. It is all about becoming more relaxed and calm.
Now you may think that this all sounds good but it is not possible. But ask yourself this, "why does it sound good?" Does it sound good because humans like to suffer? No, it sounds good because humans like to feel good since that is their true nature. Also there are uplifting movies you can watch to help you. One is Brother Sun, Sister Moon. It is about St Francis of Assisi who was great at trusting things to work out. He created that saying "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can change and the wisdom to know the difference." Now L Ron Hubbard (the founder of Dianetics and Scientology) said "Try to control the things that you can control and do not try to control the things that you cannot control."

Social Anxiety

This is normal and common in today's society. For hundreds of thousands of years, people lived in villages. It was like a big family. That is why there is the saying, "it takes a village to raise a child." People took care of each other and shared things so there was no idea of stealing.
If they met with another village to trade or celebrate and have done this many times, they felt relaxed with them. If it was a tribe that they never encountered before (strangers), then they had to be very cautious since the other tribe may kill them. They may be there to rape and pillage (the act of looting [stealing] especially in a war).
Some live in small towns where everyone knows each other like where Avril Lavigne grew up (Napanee, Canada). But most Americans live in big cities or suburbs, where most people are strangers. So this environment creates a lot of stress for the person. But this should motivate you to find ways to relax and de-stress (like yoga) and things that will make you a more relaxed person. See webpage about finding happiness and enlightenment. You can become a very relaxed person who feels perfect peace. It is only then can you be extremely happy.
Kevin Trudeau says in his best selling book, Natural Cures They Do Not Want You to Know About, "All illnesses and diseases are caused by the same things; (1) too many toxins in the body; (2) nutritionally deficiencies; (3) electromagnetic chaos exposure; (4) mental and/or emotional distress." If you want to cure yourself of any disease you have and remain healthy, you must eliminate all non-prescription and prescription drugs."

Things to Help Anxiety and Stress

A practical thing that you can start doing right away is yoga. Besides the benefits of regular exercises it produces a lot extra of those feel good chemicals in the brain (endorphins) since the positions produce stimulation to the organs and the glands in the body. The book below teaches the best yoga. There are pictures of the founder with President Bill Clinton, Madonna and John McEnroe in his studio. I learned this yoga from this book. I have been doing yoga since age 12.
The book says that the benefits for one position is that it helps "develop concentration, patience and determination. Physically, it tightens abdominal and thigh muscles, improves flexibility of the sciatic nerves...." "The balancing stick [another posture] perfects control and balance by improving physical, psychological and mental powers." "The toe stand develops psychological and mental powers-- especially patience." Another great thing for anxiety is tai chi (moving mediation).

Each type of yoga does the postures differently. Here is what the book (below) says: "The Triangle is the only posture in the world that improves every muscle, joint, tendon and internal organ in the body. At the same time, revitalizes nerves, veins, and tissues. It helps cure lumbago and rheumatism of the lower spine by flexing and strengthening the last 5 vertebrae, and it improves crooked spines.... It also firms upper thighs and hips, slims the waistline...." Actress Jennifer Aniston says "Yoga calms me down. It gives me energy and focus." She also does meditation.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (U.S.D.A.) has a website by the leading botanist in the world, Dr James Duke, which lists plants that have antianxiety phyochemicals in them. The first one has the highest concentration of these chemicals: valerian root with 2 antianxiety chemicals, garlic 3, asparagus 3, beets 3, bok choy 3, cauliflower 3, brussel sprouts 3, spinach 3 and peanuts with 3 chemicals.
The book, Nutrition Almanac (4th edition 1996-- over 2.5 million sold) says "If a person is tired, irritable, nervous, depressed, or even suicidal, suspect a vitamin B deficiency."  Greens drinks (see Superior Nutrition) contain an abundance of B vitamins except vitamin B-12. The vitamin B-12 supplement is grown on bacteria or mold unlike other vitamins and minerals that are made with (or extracted with) chemicals. I just read about someone having a lot of anxiety and that they also ate a lot of meat. It was mentioned to cut back or eliminate meat since it contains adrenalin. When the animal is being killed, it is scared to death and releases all this adrenalin.
The page on natural healing covers a diet good for depression and mental problems. An additional thing is that when animals are being killed in the slaughter house, they release a lot of fear hormones. Then when you eat them, you are eating those fear hormones which will make you have more fear. So you can avoid eating meat like Einstein and Da Vinci did. If plants have fear, they do not produce hormones. When you eat fruit, you are not hurting the plant at all. The plant wants you to eat the fruit to spread its children around. You spit out a watermelon seed and it becomes the child plant of the one that made the watermelon.

Psychology Today Magazine says "Neuroscientists have found that meditators shift their brain activity to different areas of the cortex - brain waves in the stress-prone right frontal cortex move to the calmer left frontal cortex. This mental shift decreases the negative effects of stress, mild depression and anxiety. There is also less activity in the amygdala, where the brain processes fear." Oprah Winfrey is heavily promoting Eckhart Tolle and his book, A New Earth. His previous book was The Power of Now. It says "Ultimately, there is only one problem: the time-bound mind itself." "You may find it hard to recognize that time [perception] is the cause of your suffering or your problems." "Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry-- all forms of fear-- are caused by too much future, and not enough presence." Note what Abraham Maslow says about time above.

Pure Drinking Water

Pure Drinking Water

The tap water in Philadelphia has parasites in it so that is not good water to drink. Tap water contains chlorine which kills bacteria but is very bad for you to drink. The book, Natural Cures (� 2004) by Kevin Trudeau, says "All tap water is poisonous. All tap water is loaded with chlorine and chlorine by-products. Chlorine scars your arteries and, along with hydrogenated oil and homogenized dairy products, causes heart disease. Most tap water also has fluoride , which is one of the most poisonous and disease causing agents [that] you can put in your body. Do not drink or use tap water except for washing your floor." Tap water is not pure drinking water.
The purpose of water is not nutrition. The purpose of water is to transport things. It brings the nutrition in and the waste out. You can have sex in a car but that is not the purpose of a car. The purpose of a car is so the Transporter (guy in movie) can do his job.
There are 2 kinds of bottled water. There is spring water and distilled water. Spring water means any water that is potable meaning any water that you can drink without getting sick which includes tap water. Spring water that is from a spring has minerals in it. But these have come from rocks or an animal's urine. Distilled water is pure drinking water that has been evaporated and condensed leaving behind all impurities except things that evaporate at a lower temperature than water. In chemical experiments, where they need very pure water, they use triple distilled water.
The purpose of water is not to provide you with inorganic minerals like from rocks and stones. Organic means something that is or was alive. You are supposed to get organic minerals from food. Biology teaches that animals consume foods and plants create foods out of air, water, sunlight and minerals (including inorganic minerals). The purpose of water is for transportation so pure drinking water is the best.
Water filters leave in many impurities including dissolved minerals like sodium. They can make a gallon of water from tap water in less than a minute so they are quick. Those filters where the water goes right through the filter, take out only some of the bad stuff like the chlorine in the water but they let salt and many harmful chemicals pass right through including every acid. Any substance which dissolves in water (most chemicals) passes right through these filters. None of the above (tap, spring or filtered water) are able to be used in chemical experiments. This is not pure drinking water. They only use triple distilled water. All liquid medicines are made with distilled water.
Water distillers have carbon filters with them to take out those things that evaporate with the water. It takes about 6 hours to make a gallon of water using electricity. Some are made where you use a fire under it. It produces almost pure water. You can buy one for around $200. The equivalent to this in nature is rainwater which is condensed water that had evaporated. Distilled water is pure drinking water.

Water purifiers (also called reverse osmosis purifiers) use a semi-permeable membrane similar to what is in your kidneys. Water with impurities flow on one side and it lets the pure water flow to the other side. It uses the water pressure in tap water and the water with impurities flows out another tube into the drain. They usually have a sediment filter and carbon filter attached to it. It creates almost pure water. It takes about 1 hour to make a gallon of water. The pressure in the tap water system is free so you are not paying for energy to purify it. But the complaint in areas where there is not an abundance of water, is that it wastes water since a lot of it goes down the drain. You can buy one for around $350. At one Whole Foods store they sell plastic bottles that you can buy and re-use and fill them up with the water from their water purifier. Whole Foods is the largest natural foods chain in the country and one of the top 100 companies to work for and they have chosen R/O purified water to sell.

Dr Paul Bragg ND, PhD says in The Shocking Truth About Water, "The greatest damage done by inorganic minerals-- plus waxy cholesterol and salt-- is to the small arteries and other blood vessels of the brain. Hardening of the arteries and calcification of the blood vessels starts on the day you start taking inorganic chemicals (and minerals from tap water) into our bodies."

On a website, it said that no where in the world does water without minerals exist. As soon as rainwater hits the curb and makes a puddle, it has minerals in it. But is that what you want to drink? As the rain is falling it is just like distilled water. It is pure with no minerals in it. But if put this water on the curb, it will no longer be clean. Any filter that minerals pass through also lets many harmful chemicals pass through like hydrochloric acid. If someone is afraid of drinking pure water with no minerals in it, they can make a tea with it and then you will be choosing the nutrients that go in the water. It could be decaf green tea or an herbal tea. I drink a tea with no caffeine in it but with herbs from the Amazon rainforest like cats claw, jatoba and stone breaker (chanca piedra). Joel Fuhrman, MD, has been fasting people on only water for 3 decades. He uses distilled spring water. This is very pure drinking water.
 

What About Minerals in Water


Some people will say that water needs minerals in it like in spring water from a spring. But these minerals can come from all sorts of bad places like from urine and worse. To get minerals from a food in your water, you can just make tea with your pure water. See link below about the health benefits of green tea. Green tea is the most alkaline food that there is.

You can drink tea all day. That is what the Chinese do. They do not drink water. You can sweeten the tea with stevia. You can also squeeze some lemon juice in it. Whole Foods markets has their 365 brand of a tea made with organic green tea, organic yerba mate and organiic peppermint ($3.99 for 40 tea bags). Yerba mate tea is very healthy and I like the taste better than green tea so I drink the mix above from Whole Foods. Yerba mate is the most popular drink in most of South America. Some fruits contain a great deal of water. As far as getting nutrients from drinking something with hardly any calories there are unsweetened teas. You can sweeten them with an herb called stevia (liquid or powder form) that has hardly any calories-- at health food stores. You can make a tea with plants other than the tea plant. In China they drink a tea made with the tea plant which includes green, white or black tea. In Korea, they drink tea all day made with roasted corn or barley.

There is a naturally sweet tea from Africa called Rooibos tea (see link at bottom). It is very high in antioxidants and has no caffeine. They have been drinking it in Africa for over 200 years. It only grows in the Cape region of South Africa. According to Prescription for Herbal Healing, it is an antiviral, antianxiety and antiallergy agent. It is good for allergies, stress, HIV/AIDS, insomnia and restless leg syndrome.

How to Stop Smoking

The tobacco companies do not want you to stop smoking. So they have added many chemicals to the tobacco to make it much more addictive. Now, it is almost impossible to stop smoking. It may be the hardest thing that you have ever done, but it is well worth it. The nicotine is a stimulant but the carbon monoxide numbs your brain and that is why smoking relaxes you. You will be much happier without this addiction.
You know how it feels when you need to go to the bathroom really badly but have to hold it? That is how it is when the nicotine level in your body goes down and you cannot smoke right at that moment. You do not need that in your life. Nicotine is a narcotic so smokers are drug addicts. I knew a cocaine addict that went to N.A. (Narcotics Anonymous) meetings. On the day that he stopped smoking, he was drooling like a dog and was incoherent. Unlike smoking, cocaine has no physical addiction.
Once you stop smoking, you need the commitment that you will never start again. Find other ways to deal with stress. The way you stop is by doing it in steps. First you get rid of your addiction to the chemicals which is the hardest part. You do this by switching to the American Spirit brand that is pure tobacco and no additives. It has more of the tobacco and nicotine that you are addicted to but no chemical additives.

But when you switch, it will feel like it is not working since you are not getting what you are used to getting with normal cigarettes. So it will be uncomfortable, but stay with it. Doing this awhile causes you to get over your addiction to the chemical additives. The tobacco is stronger so the misery you feel is the curing of your addiction to the chemical additives. If you do not believe that you are addicted to the chemicals, then it should be easy to switch with no discomfort.
So now you have a healthier habit. Then it will be much easier to stop smoking since you are only dealing with your addiction to the tobacco and nicotine. One way to do this is with a tiny computer, like the one on this health foods page. First you tell it when you smoke and it learns your habit. So first it deals with your habit, not your addiction.
Biting nails is a hard habit to break but you are not addicted to something in your nails. After a week of learning your habit, then it will tell you when to smoke and you follow. You are getting as much nicotine as before but you do not have the comfort of the habit. So you are uncomfortable while it breaks you habit. After it breaks your habit, then it will slowly reduce the amount that you are smoking so it is not noticeable. It does that until you are smoking very little and you can just stop. Make sure to develop new habits to deal with stress like yoga or mediation.

Psoriasis and Skin Problems


Eighty percent of psoriasis is plaque psoriasis. One kind can change into another. Psoriasis is characterized by raised inflamed lesions covered by a silvery, white scale. Usually found on the elbows, knees, scalp and lower back. One treatment can work for one person and not another. Eighty percent of the people who use regular doses of sunlight enjoy improvement of their plaque psoriasis. Water can help soften psoriasis lesions. Too much sunlight at one time can make the psoriasis flare. It is best to use short multiple exposures. It can take several weeks to see improvement.
There is a book on it by a chiropractor called Healing Psoriasis: The Natural Alternative by Dr John Pagano (see bottom of this page and click on it for more information). Here are diet suggestions from it. Do not smoke. Tobacco is very bad for psoriasis. Increase your eating of fruits and vegetables. No red meat which includes no pork. Limit dairy to 1% or non-fat and still limit that.  Limit or eliminate foods with added sugars. Cut out gluten products which means no wheat products. Take a teaspoon of flaxseed oil every morning and evening. To get enough trace minerals (not from above book) make sure to take kelp. You can sprinkle granulated kelp on your foods. Kelp is a sea plant (seaweed).
Skin problems develop when the liver gets backed up with toxins. The 4 excretory organs of the body are the lungs, kidneys, liver and skin. MRSA The Superbug of the Century

MRSA stands for Methicillin-resistant Staphyloccus aureus. It can attack internal organs or become flesh-eating pneumonia. This is being spread in hospitals. In 1999 there were 127,000 cases of it. In 2005 there were 278,000.  Deaths from it rose from 11,000 to 17,000. A study at the Mayo clinic estimated that 46 out of every 1,000 hospital patients are infected or colonized with MRSA [Natural remedies for MRSA. Regenerativenutrition.com. 2008].
It is getting so bad that hospitals are turning to very dangerous drugs like Crestin. It is a WWII-era antibiotic that is so toxic that it causes kidney damage in 25% of the patients. And no matter how powerful the drugs are, it is a losing battle. The new MRSA strains are 4 times more deadly and resistant to more antibiotics than past than past strains.
The herb, olive leaf, has powerful phytochemicals like oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol that keep pathogens from replicating. A 1999 study showed "broad antimicrobial activity" of the polyphenols in olive leaf [Bisignano, G, et al. On the in-vitro antimicrobial activity of oleuropein and hydroxytyrosol. J Pharm Parmacol. 1999 Aug;51(8):971-4].
Olive leaf has worked so well against MRSA that it is used in hospitals in Hungary as an official infectious remedy. It has been shown to kill off MRSA colonies in the first hour. Olive leaf succeeds where conventional antibiotics fail [Olive Leaf Extract. Regenerativenutrition.com. 2008].
It also kills other bacteria, fungi and mold. Cold pressed extracts of the leaf appear to work best. They extract chemicals from plants and make them into drugs. The harmful organisms can adapt and become resistant to these drugs, but this does not happen with the herb that it came from since it contains many different chemicals in it. But herbs cannot be patented like the chemicals extracted from them. American is based on money, not health.

Urge Incontinence (UI)

The conventional treatments for this are pretty bad. One is a device implanted by surgery costing a lot of money. Another treatment for women is a vaginal device called a pessary. It is a stiff ring that presses against the walls of the vagina. With it you have to watch out for more frequent vaginal and urinary tract infections. Then there are infections of bulking agents. These need to be repeated.
Drugs that work well against urinary incontinence (UI) are Anticholinergics like Ditropan, Oxytrol and Detrol. They interfere with a neurotransmitter acetylcholine. These drugs are called ACh drugs. Side effects include dry mouth, dry eyes, constipation, headache, dizziness and restlessness. It can also cause serious mental problems like hallucinations and loss of memory.
Millions suffer from urge incontinence. Women experience it twice as often as men. I see no reason to explain it since only those who have it need to worry about it. I think that the newsletter explains it since people like me pay a lot of money for the newsletter so they have to pad it with information to justify their high price. You are getting this information for free. People clicking on Google ads helps to pay for me to search out more natural cures. The newsletter says that the bladder can empty during sleep after drinking a little water.
So there is a blend of Chinese herbs they say are very effective against UI. IT says that out of 15 people, 11 had a complete cure and 4 had improvement after 20 to 40 doses of FloControl. Autism, Down Syndrome and Other Genetic Disorders

A new study shows that pregnant women who use flea and tick shampoo on pets may double the risk of autism in their children. The study followed 2,000 children, some with autism, some with developmental delay and some with typical development and compared individual genetic patterns with exposure to medications, chemicals, food products and other environmental factors. The authors (who stress the findings are preliminary) believe that insecticide chemicals called pyrethrins may play a role in triggering autism in certain kids. Pyrethrins are widely used in insect foggers and are also found in some lice-control shampoos for humans.
This article on this disagrees with the number of kids in the study. These findings are from the Childhood Autism Risks from Genetics and the Environment study, which is funded by the US National Institutes of Health. They had a story on TV about an actress that had an emotional breakdown for giving her son Down Syndrome by giving him vaccines. I asked on a forum why vaccines have mercury in them. A nurse said that you can get a flu vaccine without mercury in it. Now that is like going to a restaurant and on the menu it says "salad." Then under that it says "salad without any roaches." So why do they have the salad with roaches in it.
Here is the cure. They should get plenty of good nutrition. See the home page for eating healthy and Nutrition page for best supplements. I just read something about vitamin D and autism so make sure they get enough vitamin D (see Superior Nutrition page about danger of too much and best way to get it). The best way to get it is from sunshine.
Then they should detoxify the pesticides, drug residues, food additives, mercury, steroids, hormones and other things out of their body. One way is the Purification Rundown of Scientology. Find a center near you and I think it costs around $2,000.
There is a chemical DMSO (dimethyl sulfide) that is made from pine trees. You have to be careful with it. Put some anywhere on the skin and you can taste it in 12 seconds in your mouth. You can do a search for it to check it out more. If mixed with toxins, they will also be absorbed by the skin into the body. Get some USP Grade DMSO and take 1 dropperful internally through the mouth a day. When the person no longer has a garlicky smell, then take 2 to 5 dropperfuls a day. When there is no more stink smell, then stop and this part is done.
DMSO wipes out free radicals in the body. Toxins in the body create free radicals. It realigns DNA back to the original blueprint (the body's original intended form). DMSO helps the cells grow back to their original form before they were damaged by an outside source. It helps damaged cellular structure. People have reported scars disappearing, hair regrown, wrinkles vanishing and complete reversal of Autism, Down Syndrome and other genetic disorders.
Thousands of American medical doctors inject hydrogen peroxide into their patients. This is something I know a lot about unlike with DMSO. It is water with an extra oxygen atom. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (Michael Jackson had this machine) was used on people with genetic disorders with impressive results. But this is very expensive. The toxicity of mercury and heavy metals turned off the brain's switches during when the original damage was done. This is an attempt to turn it back on. All this takes a lot of work and patience.
Instead of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, get food grade hydrogen peroxide. I believe it is 5% concentration instead of the 2% in the drug store. Note that 95% hydrogen peroxide is rocket fuel. Put 1 tablespoon for an adult or 1 teaspoon for a child into a glass of orange juice and drink it. This puts oxygen into the body. 
Eating fruit (the best food) is supposed to produce hydrogen peroxide in the body, so they should eat lots of fruit on an empty stomach before other foods. Then wait 15 minutes and eat other foods as talked about on my home page. Then, right after taking hydrogen peroxide internally, the person goes into an inversion chair and is turned upside down for 10 to 60 seconds. Do this several times a day. Also the person should exercise. Start slow at first. This information comes from a very knowledgeable naturopathic physician.
A book by an MD (Super Foods Rx) that lists the 23 healthiest foods, lists raw honey as one of them. It says "Honey contains at least 181 known substances, and its antioxidant activity stems from the phenolics, peptides, organic acids and enzymes [enzymes are killed by heating so it should be raw honey, which it will say if it is]." Part of the reason that is great for helping wounds to heal is that it slowly releases hydrogen peroxide. So this would be good to take internally and you can use it to sweeten things like very warm tea.

Lyme Disease

There appears to be an epidemic of Lyme Disease in the rural, wooded areas of the Northeast United States and other areas. See this site for a map of the highest incidence of it in the U.S.A. The President of the USA (George W Bush ) has Lyme Disease. Since Lyme Disease is a bacterial infection, see bacterial infections and antibiotic on Natural Cures Part 1, for the best foods to eat to help it. Lyme disease is caused by a spiral shaped bacteria (spirochete) called Borrelia burgdorferi. These bacteria are most often transmitted by tics and mosquitoes. It can also be transmitted from fleas and mites.
It appears that people can get re-infected with it. One lady and her kid did not get rid of all the symptoms until she moved. The problems started when she moved into this wooded area. Lyme disease can mimic more than 350 different medical conditions. This list contains about every disease or degenerative condition that we have ever heard of. There may be 20 million people in the USA who are infected with Lyme disease-- most of them, without knowing it. They may attribute their symptoms to another disease that it has imitated.
The classic symptoms of Lyme disease are mild to severe joint and muscle pain, and flu-like symptoms that include fatigue, backache, stiff neck, and headaches. In the most severe cases, chronic arthritis is common and there are complications in the heart and nervous system. Patients with chronic Lyme disease commonly have fatigue, joint and muscle pain, sleep disorders and cognitive problems. In addition, it can create a low grade infection of the brain that can cause depression, bipolar disorder, tingling, panic attacks, numbness, burning or twitching.
Patients suffering with a chronic illness (especially those with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome and Unrelenting Fatigue) would be wise to consider Lyme disease as a contributor. Lyme disease can also mimic MS perfectly. Patients with chronic Lyme disease often complain of weird symptoms that cannot be explained, even after going to numerous doctors and often results in the patient being told that it is psychological. 
 A recent study in the USA, in which 28 people suffering from severe LD, were treated for 6 months. 14 of the patients received the standard doses of antibiotics. The other 14, took cats claw, an herb from the Brazilian rainforest with a legendary reputation. The result? Three of the fourteen who took antibiotics showed slight improvement. But ALL of the 14 who took cats claw showed dramatic improvement. Twelve of the 14 were tested at the end of six months and NO trace of LD remained!

Prostate Cancer

The foods with the highest concentration of anticancer (prostate) chemicals are watermelon with 1,800 ppm of 1 chemical, carrots with 280 ppm of 2 chemicals and tomatoes with 40 ppm of 1 chemical. The following foods have lower concentrations than the above. Tea with 1 chemical, papaya with 1 chemical and grapefruit with 1 chemical.
According to the 500 page college textbook, Human Biology by Sylvia S Mader (1995) prostate cancer is very different than the other types of cancer. It says about prostate cancer "The disease is most common in northwestern Europe and North America. It is rare in the Near East, Africa, Central America, and South America. For reasons not currently known, African Americans have the highest incidence rate in the world."
Are you wondering why this is since it may affect you. It is because black skinned people need 4 times the sunlight as white skinned people to get the same amount of vitamin D. The prostate gland thrives on vitamin D from sunlight. The sunlight is much weaker in the U.S.A. than in Africa which is closer to the equator. So the places where the sunlight is strongest is where the prostate cancer is rare.
In a magazine they wanted to see if there were certain things affecting prostate problems like pollution in certain parts of the country. So they gave different colors to different percentages of people with these problems and then applied those colors to a map of the U.S. They found the color with the highest amount of problems went across the most northern part of the U.S.
Then as they went further south the percentage of people with prostate problems became lower and lower. So they determined that this was due to the unique vitamin D from the sun. If you sunbathe, you sweat out toxins like cancer causing chemicals. The water evaporates but the toxins build up on your skin. So make sure to bathe after sunbathing to wash those chemicals off your skin.
